gustav, I'll get you for that!! Evil or Very Mad
-------

cjhsa, didn't you get that the picture you were showing is just a segment
from the entire picture. They purposefully have omitted the ladders and
fire engines from your picture to make it look like, no one is there.

The Turkish press and you are the only ones who believe that the
cut off picture is real.

This is the photo again, the original ...

... taken by the photographer I mentioned above, between the first minute after the alarm (about one dozen policmen and an ambulance were already, policemen caught those two children who were thrown down) and before the firebrigade took any action (= four minutes after the alarm).

That hasn't been disputed by anyone. Besides cjhsa.

On the other side, the police is indeed investigating malicious arson.
The state as well as the federal Office of Criminal Investigation are investigating.

Yes, and your question was answered over and over again.
That you are a slow learner was known, how slow it really is, we have
seen today!

sure, you asked a simple, innocent, uncharged question.... Rolling Eyes

and when it was answered again and again, you stuck to your initial position bravely. very principled and mature.

The story reads that the firemen's ladders could not reach them.

I wonder what the real story is.

You see, cjhs, this happened two days ago. Due to the carnival parade, a lot of tv- and photo reporters were around there ...

... you should join the investigation, I'm sure your help would be gretaly appreciated!

Cj and Hoft, Walter.

You know what they are...why worry what they say?

I know it can be irritating, and of course it is worth correcting them...other than that, it's lipstick and pigs.

Maybe the streets are too narrow, based on the age of the city, for hook and ladders to be part of their fire departments? Also, why doesn't a four story building have an outside fire escape?

What's a Feuerwehr?

Since it happened in a city, I would guess that there would be building codes that a four story building would have an outside fire escape. Don't you see building fire escapes when watching a movie that takes place in NYC?

To "help" prevent a future tragedy Turkey should be let into the EU immediately, so if a tragedy like this ever happens again, there can be even more incentive (there certainly was great incentive for this tragedy) to get to the fire even more quickly, and then be even more efficient, since fellow citizens of the EU would be in danger.
