Hmmmmm...done about a third of it......and it sure is cloudy!

I'm not sure if the messiness is gonna look good, and is intended, or it's my bad technique!

She said the rougher the job the better.........

Gibbering slightly.....

Although the paint is so easy, I was tippy-toeing on a chair and stretching full-length to get to the top of the wall....and having to hop up and down from the chair.....then all the kneeling......who needs a gym????

Try not to fall on that puff of cotton you call a tail. Perhaps a low platform ladder would be a wise investment.

I have one of those...well, a stepladder. It doesn't effectually go higher than the chair...and I have to move it more often.

However, I mah have to invest in a ladder, as I clearly stuffed up yesterday's painting, and am going to have to go over it.

She said to add a little watere to the paint, and I clearly ended up with more in the second lot, so things are TOOOOOO patchy (spits and swears) and I think I need less tippy-toe and more control.

Grrrrrrr!

I just went to complete one of the architectural details in the hall.....I asked for THREE sample pots of the proper blue (that's all I needed, and it's cheaper than buying paint I don't need) and she only gave me two!!!

(Unless one is in the boot)

So...I just did three quarters of the final coat for that one bit.

I am going to complete another, before hitting THE WALL.......gibber....

Oh...and I found my step ladder DOES get me higher than a chair!!! Yippeeeee!

Thank heavens I didn't buy a medium ladder the other day...I shopped for one, but it was too pricey.

Be glad you don't have 14 ft ceilings with tounge and grooved boards like me.

dlowan, would you be kind enough to post a picture of you standing on the stepladder, holding a paintbrush in your hand, and with a contemplative look on your face?

I believe others, beside myself, also share my curiosity and would like to see such a photo.
