Sorry about that. It's a new idea. So naturally I had trouble wording it.
The word in the movie title for the first star will go before the word in the movie title for the second star.
hmmm. Is that too confusing? Once you get one pair, the rest will fall into place.
I think I've got it, but just to be sure: the titles don't overlap, right? (By which I mean, the last word of one title isn't the same as the first word of the other title.)
Well, in two instances they do, because they're one word titles. (lol)
oh, and in another instance they do overlap. That leaves us with one pair that doesn't overlap.
Does that mean that, in two cases, the two performers made different movies with the same one-word title?
(This is starting to sound like a Marx Brothers routine, or "Who's on first?")
One pair of actors that doesn't overlap. (lol) (I'm having problems getting here.)
No. None of the titles are the same. (lol) Now, you're just going to have to figure this out for yourself.
I'm headed out of here. I'll work on this at home tonight. If I don't solve it tonight, you won't hear from me until Monday, because I'm leaving for NJ tomorrow, to spend Easter at my sister's.
It makes perfectly good sense to me.

If I can take any credit for having any sense.
Oh, I think you can take credit for having a great deal of sense!
And you were right: once I got the first one, the others fell into place -- but it took me forever to get the first one!
Garland and Nicholson: Meet Me in St. Louis, The Missouri Breaks
Gere and Massey: Chicago, Abe Lincoln in Illinois
Hayward and Jones: Tulsa, Oklahoma!
Cooper and Holden: Dallas, Texas
Absolutely correct, Bree.
I have a few ideas for the new format. It's worth a try, don't you think?
See you next week.
Absolutely worth a try (now that I understand it)!
I should have given a sample, but that was the only question I could think of at the time. I'll try to express myself more clearly in the future, only I won't make any promises. (LOL) I think it's more difficult to word the question than it is to think of one to ask. I need your expertise, but then we wouldn't have a game.
Just dropping in to say hello and happy Easter!
Wishing you all a GREAT day.
Wow, an Easter bunny with doughnuts and carrot cake! My kind of bunny.
I made it home and am taking the day off from work tomorrow. See you when I wake up.
Mac: I think when you woke up, I went back to sleep. (lol)
Anybody like to ask a question. Are you ready, Bree? Would you like me to start a round, or shall we let it rest for awhile?
I don't have a new question, but if you're ready to start a new round, I'm ready to try to solve it.
Meanwhile, here's a bit of bad news for Charlotte d'Amboise and her fans: the New York Times reported on Saturday that the producers of Sweet Charity have decided to close the show out of town. Apparently the combination of mediocre reviews in Boston and poor advance sales for the Broadway production made them decide it was better to cut their losses now rather than go ahead and bring the show to Broadway. Oh, well -- that's showbiz.
Wow, what a shame.
I just remembered that I saw a revival of Sweet Charity in 1986 starring Debbie Allen. I had completely blanked it out! But then, that was the time that I saw 10 plays in a week...
Hey, click
here for the latest project that eating into my A2K time... (in case you were wondering). I thought I'd start a new thread rather than intrude into this one.
