@mac11,
Geez. I had to go back and look up which movie I'd selected!!
Let's see...Although as a business owner she was very organized, when he came to audit her, she presented all her files and receipts as loose paper in a big box, just to be cantankerous and give him a hard time.
Ohhh, I love that movie--Stranger Than Fiction...wait, I'm not sure we're supposed to say what the answer is--I haven't been online with a2k in so long-the logo looks brand new to me!
Happy New Year all!
Welcome back, loislane! The site has undergone a lot of changes. I hope you adjust and begin playing trivia with us again. Your answer to eoe's question is probably correct.

Wow, I'm glad you came up with that LoisLane. It would have driven me nuts. I saw Stranger Than Fiction, but I don't know if I ever would have remembered those scenes.
Perhaps it didn't impress you? I watch many movies, especially newer movies that are so unimpressive that I couldn't tell you a thing about them afterwards.
The plot was intriguing, but I'm not a big Will Ferrell fan. Maggie Gyllenhall was great, so I remember the audit stuff and how pissed she was. I couldn't place the bus scene, and would have had a hard time remembering which movie had that funny stuff about being audited...

Hi yellowlab! It's been ages since we played movie trivia.
You guys are sooooo funny. (But I will take that sweet ride!)
Of course, I meant that I am here, present, and ready to restart The Movie Scene Quiz.
Somebody start us off with a hint.

My test run should in theory be an easy one. I'm just throwing it out to see if I'm doing it right.
Newbie - 1981 to present: This film's protagonist suffers from constant publisher rejection of his manuscript as well as an aesthetic allergy to Merlot.
