Oooooh! Maybe that's it, Wandeljw
Harris even made a film with a fowl in the title: "Wild Geese".
That's why I asked about fowl. (lol) But, I never thought of Orca.
I found another one that fits the bill if Harris isn't who Bree has in mind.
raggedy,
go ahead with your answer. i am on break but bree seems to be busy at work.
I'm back. Richard Harris was a good guess, but not who I'm thinking of. Do you want a hint that will surely give it away, or do you want to keep working on it for a while?
bree,
raggedy knows of another actor.
Robert DeNiro?
The Deer Hunter
Raging Bull
Mad Dog & Glory and Wag the Dog
Shark Tale
and half of a bull:
Rocky and Bullwinkle
Yes to DeNiro and all the movies. I hadn't even thought of the "Bull" in "Bullwinkle"!
hmmm. Is that because I'm full of bull. (lol)
Wandeljw: Do you have a question?
Raggedyaggie wrote:Is that because I'm full of bull.
Certainly not! It's because you're so perspicacious.
Aaah. Diplomacy will get you everywhere, Bree.
I think Wandeljw is back to work so, since the path has already been conveniently laid out by Bree, and in such a competent manner, may I add, I shall follow it with:
This actor has been in 10 movies, the titles of which contain the name of a kind of animal. (None are TV movies)
What we have here is:
1. One animal appearing in two of the movies
2. Another animal apearing in 4 of the movies
3. One fowl
4. 2 fish
5. One animal all by its lonesome
(and there's also one half of an animal, but I'm not counting that one. )
I do hope I haven't goofed on my arithmetic. I've counted them 3 times.
I'm just back from lunch. Greenwich Village is looking quite pretty at the moment, with the branches of the trees all covered with snow from last night's storm. Now if only all the snow would disappear by tomorrow, I wouldn't have a problem with winter at all.
I have to deal with an e-mail that came in while I was out, and then I'll turn my attention to your question.
Roddy McDowell was in 4 out 5 "Planet of the Apes" movies. Fowl is in the title of his "Lord Love A Duck". He also spent a lot of time with Lassie and Flicka. I do not know of any fish movies he would have been in.
Also a cat: "That Darn Cat".
You got it Wandeljw. It is Roddy MacDowall. Lord Love A Duck is correct ,as are the Apes movies.
But, I need the animal that was mentioned in two of his movie titles and two fish movies.
Oh and I need another animal, too.
Was he in that awful "Rabbit Test" movie?

yes to Rabbit Test. Now, just two of the same animal and two fish and you've got it.
Anyone that can fill in the gaps should jump in. (I don't have any new trivia questions anyway.)
I always liked Roddy McDowall and would be happy just to see the missing titles.
As I started to say before A2K crashed half an hour ago:
The two fish movies would be Killer Shark and Tuna Clipper.
And he was in The Cat from Outer Space, which would make the second "cat" movie (along with That Darn Cat!, which wandeljw already mentioned).
bree should ask the next question (i don't have any.)
thanks for bringing in roddy (i always liked him.)
