Lets call eoe's question 1
and Wizards question 2
Question 1 Three Fugitives
Let's go back to LW's question.
LW. I've been considering films in the 1959-60 bracket and I'm wondering if I'm off track.
Let's hold our interim question until we get this one solved. Any ideas, anybody? The girl is a 25 year old brunette. I'm not at all familiar with foreign films.
Wild guess, Jules and Jim.
Wild guess, A Man And A Woman
No, you're not really warm.
The film rather shattered one's notions about love and its transitory nature in a particularly jarring way.
(the orig and the remake!)
Not "Breathless" and you're in the wrong country.
(Not a French film).
A winner at the Cannes Film Festival by an Italian director. Many walked out of the screening there 'cause they didn't "get it."
I guess that's enough of the clues unless I outright reveal it and we do have another scene to work on that was in interim, so the answer is:
"L'Aventura"
(I was about to give the clue that nearly all the cast ends up on an island and one of them dissapears but I was sure that would give it away).
Whoops --I already revealed the answer. But that was a good guess based on the clues because both films have a lot in common.
So, back to this?:
An inbetweener:
A bank robber kidnaps a straightlaced veterinarian and his hotsy-totsy little wife.
Not Bonnie and Clyde
Another guess: Take the Money and Run
