Raggedy got it. The Getaway with Steve McQueen and Ali McGraw. The actor who played Howard Sprague on "The Andy Griffith Show" played the vet and Sally Struthers played the wife. It wasn't a comedy. Directed by Sam Peckinpaw. Loud and violent.
