Gabriel Byrne played a priest in "Stigmata", and Satan in "End of Days" (and he played a character identified as "The Violinist" in a movie called "Canone inverso -- making love", which I had never heard of before I found it on imbd), but I can't find a live-action cartoon character for him.

bree,
Excellent guess, but incorrect. You easily deserve a clue.
The actor I am thinking of is actually better known than Gabriel Byrne. (The trick to my question is that these are his lesser known roles.)

I'm alive!! After a really short weekend--at least that's how it felt--and meetings every minute, I heard about the new format! wow.
I love this set up.
Couple of comments to what's gone by! Wandeljw commented on the conglomerates--my dayjob is to do conflict of interest reports for a law firm. We search Dun & Bradstreet every day to see what affiliates are linked with which parent companies. Be afraid. Be very afraid!
OH and I have a guess to, be right back!

I'll take a guess:
Robert DeNiro
Live-action cartoon character - Rocky & Bullwinkle
Musician (fictional) - New York, New York
Priest (fictional) - Sleepers and True Confessions
Satan - Angel Heart

Cool! My line of work is also paralegal. My daughter, however, is trying for a (behind the scenes) show business career. Her current internship is with a casting agency.

loislane,
Robert DeNiro is correct. I am not sure about Godsend. Did you want to guess a different movie for Satan, or should I just tell you.

Sorry, raggedy, I completely overlooked your answer. Angel Heart is the film where DeNiro played Satan (he went around calling himself "Lou Cypher").

I was stamping my foot and jumping up and down. You got here just in time Wandeljw.
But, I don't mind if someone else would like to ask one. But, you have to be ready with your question in five minutes. Because I have one ready.

Aaah, Willow, I assume you were talking to me. But, this is more fun than Bridge --- when you don't know how to play.
2 more minutes.
