Sys is he's doing his famous exorcism. Or was it one of his miracles of healing?
Can't remember but some kind of common occult it certainly was ...

Good afternoon, on this my 62nd birthday, by the way. Tomorrow I will officially be counted as retired.
Thank yall with cameras for posting the pictures here. Much appreciated.
I am wondering if there is a way I could select a half dozen or so of them and have them sent to my computer at the shop if I provided the email address. Some of my employees are curious as to why I would have gone all the way to Alburquerque to meet a bunch of quirky people.
The pics would not be printed or disseminated.

If you would like any of mine, just send me a PM, or email me.

Use my whole screen name here and add @yahoo.com Smile

D: "If you look real close between my fingers you can see proof that we ate the chili cheese fries at Lindy's"

M: "Oh yeah!"

Fellas, Mame is as hot in real life as she is in her pictures, and Mrs. Diddie gave me permission to say that.

The Acoma reservation, as osso has reported, was a seminal experience. I climbed down the rock steps also and was glad that Sue did not, as she would have been similarly terrified.

We can't wait to return to Albuquerque (and finally make it up to Taos, for once). I think an ABQ A2K Get-Together ought to be an annual experience.

Wait for the photos to come from both ...

... including certainly "littlk's bridge" (Taos).

Happy Birthday RJB! If we knew you were aging we'd a baked a cake.

The photos are fabulous. Already it is a memory and pics keep the memories fresh.

PDiddie--let's try to keep it an annual gathering. I loved that people all went their own way. From their reports, the rest of us have enjoyed descriptions and have made it a point to travel on the same roads.

I hope Walter posts his photos from Gallegos Park. I was blown away by the beauty of the drive toward the mountains. It reminded me of Tucson and that old familiar pull the mountains exert as one draws closer. For me, it is a palpable feeling and one I have treasured all my life.

Sure. Those and a lot more, on an own thread.
But here only those which are "persons related".

From there, we drove towards Santa Fe, stopped in and visited 'Madrid'.

We had some coffee in this nice café

(I went back there the other week, more but 'sunny' pics to follow).

Oh, I have to post this photo, taken in the local mining museum, since Mrs PDiddle rushed out of that building before you really could have seen the main features there ...

Don't eat the ham, Johnny! I've seen it. It's Tico's leftovers from last Hannukah!
