Here's the quote:
Quote:"I am absolutely confident that by the time this thing is over, the Democratic party will be completely unified."
"For those of you who are just weary of the primary, and feeling kind of ground down or that it's like a Bataan death march, I just want everybody to know that the future is bright."
OK, having read his comments, and being able to see the context of how he meant it, then I will stand by my comment that it was an extremely poor choice of words, and he should have known better then to use that analogy.
Agreed. I knew a man that survived the Bataan death march, and he lived as a weaker person afterwards, after the war, according to those that knew him and it seemed to be the case, dying sooner than he probably would have otherwise.
I think we continue to see the youth, inexperience, and just plain stumbling and immaturity as a leader and political candidate in Obama. I sense the excitement is subsiding, although some are behind him for the long haul, unless he can re-excite the masses before November, like the Obamaites fell for him earlier, I think he should be relatively easy to beat. Only a very inept campaign by McCain would explain a loss.
