He's 16 and we dont know where he is.

I have driven the main streets of our small town. Stopped and spoken with the local police who have not seen him tonight. (this is actually a good thing because it probably means he's at someones house playing video games).

The cops will keep an eye out for him and kick his arse if they do see him.

Your job is to suggest a punishment. something cruel and unusual I feel is in order.

Kids are completely embarassed to have their parents at school.

Walk him to school, where everyone can see you

Pick him up from school. Where everyone can see you.

If you can , pop your head into his class room through out the day " just to say hi"

Hug him before you ground him until the next ice age.

Hope he's home.
Does he have a driving license? Partial, or full suspension. Time length on contingency.

We have decided not to go to chasing all around looking for him at this hour of the night. If on somekind of a subconciouse level he needs to take risks I want to let him, but he needs to learn that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

He's big enough to look after himself. this is very small town nothing stays hidden for long.

Our rules are very clear to him.

We don't mind where he is as long as he is acting responsibly and we know where he is. The reasoning we put to him is that if we don't know where he is we can't know that he is acting responsibly.

Doughies? could be, although he is not a petrol head and I would hear it if there were rev heads in the town area.

I would take bets on

1. Video game.
2. Girl.
-in that order.

Remove his ability to go out with his friends for a while.

Remove all phone use, internet use and vehicle use.

Remove his radio, his video game and give him a large, hard chore around the house.
