They are no worse than the Jets. If you noticed the Jets were getting eaten up by their ground game.
The Jets showed some balls.
My beloved Giants didn't.
The coach ain't on the field.
These guys have to get their **** together -- or go into a different line of work.
I have never before bad mouthed the Giants in any way -- not even after Pisarchek handed off the ball to Edwards several centuries back. But right now I am livid with them.
And to highlight the depth of my loyalty to them -- a quick story.
I'm in a suicide pool that started with almost 350 people at $20 a pop.
Miami's loss in the first week blew out over 200 people.
Anyway -- we were down to only 11 people this week -- and four people had the Giants.
I should have been rooting againt the Giants to get rid of those 4 -- but I couldn't.
They are gone -- and so are three others.
We're down to 4 -- and I'm one of them.
I have the Titans lift to play -- and probably will do that. We'll see.

The coaches are a considerable factor in the game of football. They call the plays both offensively and defensively. For instance why is it where ever Parcell goes we have a winner or at least a contender. Look to Dallas a team almost written off before the season. Where are they7and 2? I should add the coach must be a motivator. From what I have heard BILL P scares the hell out of the biggest and badest..
I'm glad to see the conversation has turned to football. I was really tired of talking about the Clinton administration.
My 49ers are a bunch of yo-yos this year. A team full of Tommy Smothers. How can you sandwich quality wins against Tampa Bay and St. Louis around a loss to Phoenix? Talk about roadkill.
I gave up on pro football about ten years ago, traded it for college, it seems more exciting.
I concur with Brand X -- our entire family are USC fans.
College football is more exciting if you really enjoy 77-0 games.

Oklahoma is favored by 59 this week.

That depends if you would rather see a route than a well played game between two almost evenly matched teams. The difference between a "good" and "bad' NFL team is really very slight. Many times games are decided by turn overs, penalties and even poor officiating. That is why the expression on any given Sunday.
Yeah, they all have good days and bad days. Some have bad luck on their side. Just don't hire a bad kicker; they can cost you a game or two.
How much do the decisions made by the coaches during a game influence the outcome? I have heard time and time again execution, execution but more often than not it is the play called which is at fault. In fact oftimes it amounts to a guessing game between opposing coaches.
