Hi, izzie. My wife is coming along very well. She drives some, but her shoulder hurts for a time afterward.

@Reyn,
Hey boyz

Edgar - hope MrsEd is doing well now, fully into recovery mode and that all is well with you. x

Reyn - glad you are still reading along and here - hoping the snow has gone for you guys now and that you got work sorted out. If I remember, you were going for an interview.

hugs to the boyz - take care. x

@edgarblythe,
I'm glad she's doing well - takes a long time to get back to normality - so pleased you are there for her. Smile Has she got full range of motion back yet?

Not yet. That's the main focus of therapy.

Nope. No interview just yet. Keeping my eye open for a new job. Still on reduced hours, which just happens to be okay, due to my right side, which seems to be coming along nicely. Unfortunately, my right shoulder is bothering me, at the moment. From time to time, I get a kink in it, due to a weakness. It will go soon.

The snow left quite some weeks back, although we get very mild flurries from time to time, nothing that lasts for more than 20 minutes.

-------------

Edgar, nice to hear your wife is recuperating. How are you holding up with the part time maintenance job? Is it working out?

All the best to you both.

That's good to hear. The money never comes in wrong.

My bright spark on the job horizen is the prospect of a good dishwashing job in a brand new 2 pubs/restaurant/beer & wine store complex under the same roof. I think I may have mentioned this before. The fellow that owns the place (that will be opening late March, early April), pays a bit more than usual.

At least it will be a job that I will be able to do when I get older. I need to sock away some more money for when we get older.

Yup, I know about this guy already. Selling shirts wouldn't be my idea to make money away. Laughing

@edgarblythe,
Hey Edgar, how you doin' old bud? As you may have noticed, I'm posting a lot more again (quit the online game I was playing), and decided to bring up this thread again so we could chat about this and that.

I applied for the job I was waiting for a couple of weeks ago, but the business doesn't open now until the end of April. A lot of finishing touches still to do. I'm hoping that I will be chosen.

Is all still going well working part time at the maintenance job? If I get that job, I'm planning on working to 65 (at least) now, too.

Hey, if you feel like it, why not join me in a new fun thread I've started called "My online hat collection"? Hope to see you one day.

@Reyn,
First: Job. I am doing pretty well. I expected the housing crash to cause people to fill up the apartment complexes, but at least around here, it has not happened. In fact, business is off. All I can figure, people are moving in with relatives.

I plan to drive to Dallas tomorrow morning. I hope to come back that same evening. I may have mentioned that my brother is gravely ill. I will visit him for a few hours and turn around.

I hope to spend most of Sunday getting some rest.
