For our ages, the missus and I are doing well. I am not on any prescribed medicine and have not been in some years. She has had some, but only related to her arms and back, not disease.

@edgarblythe,
So glad she is managing.... that you're both managing. Great news.

I'm afraid I completely rely on my meds, sorry to say... I'm a total whuss with pain and need to take morphine based heavy duties when its bad. If you can manage without - much better plan!

Such good news that the Ed-gal is doing well - just be sure you both take time to rest up when you need to. Good for you guys - GREAT NEWS. x

Dropping in to see how Mr. and Mrs Blythe are doing. As I read above, all seems to be faring not too bad. Hoping for continued progress for your wife.

Shovelled snow for 4 hours today. This is the worst snow storm that I can remember in recent years. The snow has finally stopped, thank goodness!

Here's to a good Christmas for you and your family. Hoping that both daughters will be able to be at our place tomorrow.

Bye for now.....

Sorry about the weather, reyn. We expect a very nice day tomorrow. We plan to spend a huge part of the day with one of my daughters and her family. Merry Christmas, to you and the missus.

I have a bro in law, who collects and trades scratch offs. Circulated, uncirculated, scratched or not, he wants them. He has approaching 300,000 tickets. The people at a certain grocery save discards for my wife to take to him. The past weeks, the clerk began to notice that some of the purchasers, who were in the habit of scratching and discarding in the store, did not seem to always read the tickets correctly. She wondered if some were throwing away winning tickets because of that. Before handing them over to my wife, she began scanning each ticket before adding it to the pile. Ka-ching. One was worth $2,500. She is now about to purcase a new car.

We got home and rested up. Ate a hot dog dinner, but lunch was glorious. My prospective son in law outdid himself, particularly on the ribs and potato salad.

@Reyn,
OH REYN... so sorry - I hadn't seen that news - hoping that your daughters will be able to get there today and you can have a cracking Boxing Day together as a family.

Also hoping you don't have more power outtages. So sorry mate - have been reading about some of our crew on the East Coast who lost power for 9 days - gosh - know we are real lucky here - would love some snow but can only imagine the annoyance with the amount of snow you've got.

Wishing you a Happy Boxing Day with you and yours. <crosses fingers and sends posivibes for no snow> x
