That's the best thing about being an Aussie. No matter how far the chips are down, we never give up.
Australia all out for 340. India has won the Test, CONGRATULATIONS.
Well thats cricket for ya. A rollercoaster of ups and downs. one minute your in it next your not
Well done India, I knew you had it in you.

We are not gonna roll over ya know.
Happily dancin'
Kudos to Johnson and Clark for a frustrating one hour of lingering...our hopes
were beginning to dowse (that's why I disappeared!).
Would we have won had the umpiring/racist sledge scandal not happened? I guess not. It must have added fire to our players' heart, to use a metaphor.
go dance the night away spidergal.
enjoy the win it will be your last.
I'll see you in Adelide when we will put you young upstarts back in your box where you belong!
Great test match. Fantastic bowling by Pathan in the 2nd innings.
I thought Kumble's celebration when Symonds was dismissed was interesting. Or was I reading too much into it?

That was his 600th Test wicket. You didn't read enough.

True enough. Not much tradition of cricket here in Ireland. Somebody once described Irish cricket as "
a sort of compulsory tillage."
Anyway, congrats Spidergal. That was a superb performance. The last test should be a humdinger.
Nice to have an Irish cricket fan on the boards. Your team did quite well in the last year's World Cup.
What with being sick, and then having to work, and then down to Melbourne for a cuppla days at the tennis, I missed almost all that Test. It must be me that pulls the Aussies through - listening ball by ball at work (thank you ABC radio!).
Saw some bloody brilliant tennis, though. Unfortunately, went to sleep about 2am at the Hewitt Baghdatis match, but caught the replay.
These late matches play absolute havoc with my body clock. And Mr Qantas and bloody Macquarie Bank airport parking bastards combined to make our trip home last about 5 hours. Sleep deprived, hung over, tetchy, and back at work today. Not a great look!

Was that you causing all the trouble and getting capsicum sprayed?
First innings
India 4/211
or if your a pom, India 211/4

That's stumps on the first day in Adelaide. Michael Hussey runs over to Tendulkar to shake his hand and the Adelaide crowd rises to its feet to give him a standing ovation as he walks off. He's unbeaten on 124 and has held the Indian innings together after they were 156 for 4 at one stage.
India end the day on
309 for 5 and they will be pleased with that effort after choosing to bat. Brett Lee was the best bowler today and he bowled 22 overs at serious pace and picked up the crucial wickets of Sehwag and Laxman.
Lunch, 1.00 pm local time: India have scored 96 runs off 26 overs in the session for the loss of Dhoni and Tendulkar. Lee bowled an outstanding spell during which he dismissed Tendulkar for 153 and Australia would have been happy with their efforts at that stage. However, Kumble and Harbhajan have stuck around, adding 46 runs for the eighth wicket to take India past 400.
"When is someone in authority going to make a comment about the over-rate. Another four overs short in a session, the paying public, TV audience, Radio listeners and the batting side are getting ripped off. Yesterday they were four overs short even with the extra time," says Gary.
End of over 112 (maiden) - India 405/7 Bowling
Harbhajan Singh 30* (49b 3x4) MG Johnson 31-6-104-3
A Kumble 23* (64b 4x4) GB Hogg 22-2-88-1
6.20 pm local time: Australia end the day on 62 for no loss, trailing India by 464 runs in the first session. The pitch doesn't have much to offer to the bowlers and if the Australian batsmen put their minds to it, they could return the punishment their bowlers received from the Indians.
India began the day on 309 for 5 and although they lost Dhoni and Tendulkar well before lunch, the tail wagged hard to keep Australia in the field until shortly after tea. Kumble scored 87, Harbhajan contributed 63 and Ishant added 14 in a last-wicket stand of 58 as India piled up 526.
India 526
Australia 62/0
PA Jaques 21* A Kumble 3-0-7-0
ML Hayden 36* Harbhajan Singh 4-1-9-0
My prediction: Drawn game
BORING. I am following the tennis.
You must be a happy girl tonight Spidergal because of your team's magnificient total today They are playing in my home town!
Happy yes, but I smell a draw. Could have done with a few early upsets.
