The most boring Indo-Pak series ever.
I told you India were a very good one day side!.
Could be a different story when they come out here for the test series.
welcome Ahi.
How are the Windies side travelling? I haven't seen anything about them lately.
Well...
Beaten all comers so far!
Here comes India!
Let's hope for a close (but not too close) series!
I am not going to go in details, but we beat Pak, and now have have a 1-0 lead in the series. This was a low-scoring match, but one of the most interesting ones that has been played in a while.
Oh, and move over, Oz. We are coming over to beat you on your soil.
BRING THEM ON
NZ 1 for 0.
Platinum Duck. First ball of the innings.
but, can't that Jacob Oram belt that ball?!
I missed Andrew Symonds - didn't get home in time

India is the one test side that has the personnel to challenge Australia on our home turf.
While we fans respect the ability of this Indian side we must go all out in support of our beloved test side.
So, enough being nice...
Bring it on you sari wearing sub continental ball chuckers. Come over here and get a lesson in how to play real test cricket.

Everyone always talks down the Aussies. Bring it on. We're gonna prove once again that noone can touch us.
I couldn't catch the action today; I had a test. But I heard you guys were all out. That's superb. Go Kumble!
Look forward to Day 2

India 6/124. That's even better.
all out fot ?196.
aussies 0-32 or so at stumps!
337 run trouncing. The Indians talked up a good game before the series, but they couldn't back it up where it counts - on the field. Bring on Sydney.
The indian team is better than they showed I believe.
I wonder if Hogg will make the next test or will the selectors give someone else a chance.
If they had taken this to Day 5, that would have been some consolation.
I am truly getting bored of cricket. I stop watching every once in a while.
Then India win and...
One thing that might assist visiting teams is to play a few more practice games against provincial and state based sides. Get a feel for the pitches and stop worrying about playing too much cricket.
I feel it my duty to (on behalf of our subcontinental brothers) complain vociferously about the standard of umpiring in the sydney test.
If those decisions had gone indias way Aust would be right under the pump.
Mind you some indian fielders did appear to go to sleep in the field a couple of times.
And In tennis...

AFTER a tense battle, India has won the mixed doubles over Australia to kick off the New Year at the Hyundai Hopman Cup and keep its final hopes alive.
at lunch:
India 5-322
Tendulkar: 52
Dhoni - no score yet.
Yuvraj appears to have done his dash - hasn't performed either at bat or in the field - out for 12.
Ganguly out for 67 - but a good innings (not a popular player here, after his gamesmanship when he was captain on the last tour!
Refereeing today - neutral - so far.
Tendulkar just got his hundred!
Deficit now 50.
