Shaun pollocks retirement has not made the news here quincy sorry bro. A fearsome opponent at the best of times.
Yes - I did hear / read of Shaun Pollock retiring. It's a pity we won't see in in next season's tests!
Mostly on this thread have been Aussies and Indians - and the occasional fly-in Pom! No Sefricans until you arrived.
Now THIS is cricket.
Finally a team that can take it right up to the Aussies.
COME ON AUSSIE!!!!!!
Dad, I can tell that was filmed in California, and we don't really claim them. They are their own little Disneyland within our borders...
RH
Yeah right... (it is after midnight in the real world, however, old man...)
RH
Cricket!.... watch us...stand.
Sheeesh! All out for 159. Hussey - last man standing! (make that only man standing...all the rest fell over!)
Australia 159 (43.1 ov)
India 54/2 (11.2 ov)
India require another 106 runs with 9 wickets and 38.5 overs remaining
India current Run Rate 4.83 Required RR 2.72
Last 5 ovs 21/0 RR 4.20
Australia RR (3.68) 3.18
Right! Thats it! were done mucking around with these little boys.
Into 'em Aussie!
Considering the decision given against Gilchrist and not Tendulkar, I wonder if the Aussies are going to demand the sacking of the umpire and threaten to pull out of the series unless they get their own way?
I won't pretend I watched the game. I was sleeping. Sunday, etc.
But I checked the news just now, and hey, we won!
However, I won't read too much into this win. It was really a one-man show. And Indians took a whopping 45 overs to reach the target.
But as they say, a win is a win is a win....
Well deserved spidergal, I think your boys are just starting to find their straps.
spidy you didn't win it we lost it. The pitch had 250 written all over it but our top order failed to capitalise. The current top order seem to be playing a far too aggressive bat early instead of getting settled for an over or so. But it was a good game all the same. When your chaps were 5 /90 odd I thought we had a sniff. But dhonni and co batted very sensibly.
Heres some game pics

Don't rip Ishant Sharma off all the credit. He bowled really, really well. Has done so in both the matches so far.
Oh, and stop calling us little boys. Sharma is 6' 5"

Oh, and there's a Pommy series going on somewhere.
Come on in, Englishchers. Where are ya'll hiding?
I told you at the start of this thread I reckoned your team were the only ones in the world capable of sticking it to the aussies.
I reckon 1 compliment ought to be enough.
Good tight bowling by little ishant though.
