I got my haircut. While I don't hate it, I am not terribly excited about it.

I called M last week, told her it was time for 'the works' and told her I really didn't like the last cut. She was surprised, but glad I told her instead of just not going back. We figured out what was wrong - the cut is fixed, and the autumn colour's back. We're both happy now.



(weird how a tiny bit of cutting can make a huge difference in a hair'style')

I looked in the mirror today and discovered that I am roots with a blonde. Made some phone calls and found out that my hairdresser had retired and moved to Coral Gables, Florida.

Who do I turn to when my hairdresser has deserted the ranks of Boston hair stylists and my other hairdresser is in Hawaii.

Meanwhile I am designing a new bumper sticker for my car to read:

I'M NOT A LITTLE OLD WHITE HAIRED LADY, I AM A BLEACH BLOND
