Surgery--Again

Hey Boida... this time next week I hope you will be able to kvetch out loud. I know there will be a whole heap more to deal with over the next few months - give yourself time to feel stronger and then when the next appointments start, you will hopefully be able to talk a little better and at least be able to enjoy some "chewing".

After considerable deliberation, I took on an editing job. Now I hope I can do it--right.

Exhausted, but I thought the work might help me focus. Let's hope there are no more medical emergencies.

The pain brings tears to my eyes from the sharpness of it.

The same. Barely eating. In pain. Wondering whether I'm slowly failing from malnutrition. (Everything the docs suggested I ingest for nutritional reasons makes me gag.)

Coughing, choking, and retching. Barely able to stay awake but not sleeping well. In other woids, I'm lousy.

Started work. It helped to keep me focused for a while, but I got tired fast.

I know I'm supposed to feel better soon, but sometimes soon ain't soon enough.

How was that for a kvetch?
