Je suis ici.

Admiring the flowers. Thanks Izzie.

Drooling over the food stuff. Thanks jes and osso. jes, where are the matzoh balls? I ate 'em. Eating everything in sight.

Coughing like a maniac (residual effects of whatever was wrong with me earlier this week).

Working like crazy. All of a sudden, I'm busy.

Trying to adjust my sleeping schedule to accommodate midday radiation appointments.

Gearing up for the long haul.

Kvetching in my head. (There's no stopping me.)

Made an appointment with a friend to go to the Second Ave. Deli on my second day of radiation. I should still be able to eat then.

Worrying about major weight loss. I'm already wearing clothes that are three sizes too big.

Worrying about money.

Drowning in phlegm.

Otherwise, I'm fine.

Thinking of you, Roberta & wishing that all of this was well & truly over!

Here's a new little fuzzy virtual friend for you from me. To pat & chat with as you slurp your virtual soup & sniff your virtual flowers. Looks like s/he could be a bit of a handful, hey? Very Happy

@Roberta,
Sometime it helps to really hug something tight (or hit it).

Thanks all for the good wishes, the kitty, and the huggy bear. Yup, I could use a serious hug.

Still battling congestion and fighting off an asthma attack. Nebulizing. Inhaling. And Nebulizing some more. Called my doctor. Nobody home. I'll try again on Monday. I'm trying to avoid a trip to the emergency room. Also want to be ok when the radiation starts. Sigh.

I've taken on three jobs--two editing, one proofreading. My concentration is back. Apparently I couldn't concentrate because I didn't know what was going to happen with the surgery. Now I know. Not good, but knowing is better than not knowing.

One of the books is about health-care reform. Not bad ideas. Doesn't matter. No one will do anything to improve the situation. At least not in my lifetime.

This book has a lot of footnotes. Hate dem.

And how's by you all?

It will take me almost a month to complete the work (editing) and another month to get paid. By that time, I will have received an eviction notice, and I will be several more months behind. Too little too late. But better than nothing.

As for my lungs--my lungs and I ain't on speaking terms, so you'll have to deliver your message yourself.
