Cdiff is so nasty, I hope you will improve quickly though I do know it's a long road. JPB knows of such things as her daughter had it and ugh... long road to feeling back to normal... but we look forward to a regular kvetch when you get better.
Love you Boida, always in my heart and thoughts and ❤️ xxxx
I add my good thoughts to what the others have said.
Reading along and very glad to hear about upward trend.
Boida....it’s been days. Are you ok? I’m hoping you’re not in hospital again
I took on a job tgat has turned out to be extremely unpleasant--and very time consuming. Feeling OK. Not 100 percent, but getting there.
Sorry the job is a pain. Hope it pays well! Good to hear you are not any worse or anything
None of my jobs pay well. The publishing business has changed a lot. Editing is not much valued anymore, and the pay is evidence of this. However, money is money. I'll take what I can get.
Yes, good that I'm not worse, but I'm not 100 percent. I would like for this thing to be GONE!
I saw my psychiatrist today. He reviewed my recent records. I told him that I was near death when I got to the ER for the first time. He agreed and said that if I had waited one more day, I probably wouldn't be alive.
Aside: Some docs and RNs in the ER didn't think I would make it and came to see me with their own eyes when I was in the ICU.
Came to see you to give you supportive vibes, I hope!!!!
Thanks for letting us know everything went well.
ci, Everything did not go well. I still have the infection.
Thanks for the vibes, deb. I goil can't have too many vibes.
I've started noticing the return of some symptoms.
I'm trying not to become hysterical. I'm still taking the medication. Maybe there's a temporary glitch.
Hoping you are doing better by now.
Sorry to hear that all is not well. I'm battling ckd so I can somewhat understand health issues are not always curable. I love to have wine with dinner, and had to learn if it was okay to drink wine. The good news is, wine in moderation is good for us. That little bit of good news is spiritually uplifting. We're doing a cruise on the Columbia and Snake Rivers in October, and they serve wine. Don't want to miss out on that!
Goddammit! What’s the plan? ED? Can you get urgent phone advice?
Of course it might be a glitch, but if the bug is fighting back I would imagine the sooner you let the medical team know the more chance they have of doing something.
Please don’t let yourself get really sick if the symptoms do begin to get worse.
Please take yourself to the ER if you need to. <3 you.
Oh I wish i lived closer to you.
I hope..like hell, this goes away and you can begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I will keep checking in to see how you're doing. If you want someone to gab with, let me know. Im always up for that!
Much, much love to ya.
Greenwitch just sent you her best wishes over on Facebook
She no longer has an account here
No, I haven't spoken to doctors. It's not possible to reach doctors by phone at Bellevue. Also, I don't have a medical team. Every time I've been there for this, I've had a different team of doctors.
If the symptoms worsen, I'll get my ass to the ER.
At the moment, I'm not seeing any new symptoms. Fact is, I don't know what the hell is going on. But I'm not showing any signs that things are worse.
Deb, I hate to say this, but who is Greenwitch.
Hey Izzie. Hey Shewolf. Hey jes. Hey everybody.
My thoughts are towards you and pulling for you to stay on the health recovery path.
I know you're tough; however, you don't have to try being like me, waiting until the last possible moment to call for an ambulance or get a cab to the hospital ER. (you may have noticed a few of my close calls)
Anywho, feel better.
