@Roberta,
With my operation, they wrote a dirty limerick on me. When I wash that area, it's still dirty.

Forgot to mention that I'm greatly enjoying all the dog pics. Big ones and puppies. Thanks for the smiles.

Joanie the dog owner just called to find out how I am. Heaven was barking in the background. Joanie tried to put her on the phone. Heaven draws the line at electronics.

Do you still have "protocol" written on your ass?

@ehBeth,
deb, I'm not experiencing any pain. But I didn't sleep well. On reflection, I think that being pumped full of steroids (my pulmonologist arranged that) is making me more than usually energized. The dogs will not be visiting me this week. I'm concerned about being bumped by a big dog. Next week they'll be back.

George, How the hell should I know if "protocol" is written on my ass. I suppose I could check it out with mirrors, but I ain't all that interested.

bethie, Thanks for all the rottie pics. I often think of a rottie as a dog and a half. I'd love a visit from a pair of rottweilers. When are they coming. Maybe we could arrange a foursome. The rotties and the pit bulls. Batten down the hatches!

Glad that you are on the road to recovery. The lack of sleep may be partially due to the steroids. Cortisone can wire a person up, big time.

@dlowan,
Finished with the steroids. Sleeping better. My stomach was upset yesterday, but it seems better today. Still no pain. Please tell Dodi I send love back--and to you, bunny.

Glad you are feeling a bit better and that the dogs are providing good support and love for you.

So, what's next? Is this the end of procedures or are you waiting for more test results before additional things are done?

@dlowan,
I was at Bellevue today. Saw the surgeon. She says everything looks good. She also said that the results of the tissue testing revealed that the tissue surrounding the tumor was noncancerous.

I'll find out more about radiation later this week.

Mazel tov on your first egg cream. I hope the woman who served it did it justice. Egg cream making and serving is a fine art. Did you like it?
