Surgery--Again

Not calcium deposits. The doc told me the thing is very, very small.

The biopsy is May 12.

Something to ponder. Well, it's certainly been on my mind. I cannot ever have surgery again.

Still fed up.

Surgery with a GA? Or anything at all? A lot of surgery on people with heart or breathing problems is done with happy injections and a local. My friend's aunt had breast surgery on that. My back surgery was done that way because that's how it's always done.

If it's a problematic lump...

Here's my bias for what it's worth: a well-known surgeon prescribes a surgical biopsy for my wife, on the basis of a mammographic test. She refused to comply and is doing very well more than twenty years later.

The biopsy will be a needle biopsy.

The dogs were here yesterday. I'm feeling a bit calmer.

How do dogs know what they know? They know how we feel. They usually come in and do some exploring. This time they both came right up to me, like I needed some comfort--and they were right. I love dem dawgs.

It may not be much; but, be aware and sure that there'll be plenty of us people in there with you (at least in good vibes and thoughts ).


Afterwards I believe there should be double egg-creams for everyone! (Or at least for you, me and a dozen of your favorite people)

Adding a visit to your present favorite restaurant.. and some quiet time, talking, and maybe some blueberry pie. (I think that was my dessert at that Pierre au Tunnel place on 47th)

Back from Bellevue. The procedure was, let's just say, unpleasant. I'll have the results on June 1.

Thanks to you guys for the positive thoughts and good wishes. They help. Granted, you're not dogs, but the really do help.

Back from Bellevue. I saw my internist today. She checked my records and found that the results of the biopsy were in. So I don't have to wait until June 1. I found out today that I have breast cancer. She made me an appointment for Monday morning to see the docs. (She bullied her way in.)

Words fail me. Doesn't happen often.
