Surgery--Again

@Roberta,

Not sure how to! Let's face it, a couple of weeks ago I didn't know what a thread was! Found Soul has been teaching me some of these terms, but I'm still on a steep learning curve. Wish I was as computer literate as the rest of you seem to be. Or had even a fraction as much of interest to write about - I'm a very boring and ordinary person, alas.

So gang, One lump or two?

Lumped yesterday. A mecchiah. I did two nonlumpy things. The rent bill was under the door. I picked it up. And I cooked dinner. Lumping usually involves ordering in--no cooking.

I should be mellow (by my standards) and ready to go. Not mellow. Just mellowish.

I'm going for two lumps in a row. Actually it will be a lump and a half. Already washed a few dishes. So starting now I'm lumping again.

Butrflynet, Love that shoit. Not only does it refer to lumping, but the secondary meaning is fairly obvious. You don't like it, you can lump it.

Vonny- I live in Florida permanently now. Years ago, I would go there to soak up the sun. When I came home, do you know one of the first things that I would do? Make an appointment with my dermatologist.

Over the years I have had solar keratoses, (pre-cancerous) basal cell, and just last week, squamous cell carcinomas. They are nothing to be afraid of...............they just must be attended to. Even melanoma, (the most serious form of skin cancer,) can be cured if caught early.

It also helps that my dermatologist, besides being a great doctor, is also absolutely gorgeous!

I'm slightly in love/like with my eye surgeon but I'm a quarter century too old and, besides, he's clearly attached to his wife and family, part of why I like him in the first place. I'm kidding, naturally, but he's someone I would have worked up a crush on back in the day.
