Not good.
Not a wart.
May be cancer.
I'll know a week from tomorrow.
More later.
Tired.
Upset.
Going to sleep.
Thanks to everybody for your concern. I appreciate it.
Oh Roberta .....
I'm hoping you actually managed to get some much needed sleep.
I feel sad, sorry & very worried for you, possum.
My fingers are crossed so hard that they're going white. Please may next week's news be good news!
Hang in there & try to be strong.
Much love to you,
Olga
Damn!@
Sitting and waiting with the rest
(hope you're getting some - rest, that is!)
Hi gang,
Managed to get some sleep. Tylenol with codeine will do that.
I met with the head of the ENT surgical unit before the operation. He, like all the other doctors I'd met with before, minimized the whole situation.
Afterwards, not good. I spoke with a resident. They could not remove the whole growth because it's not the correct procedure for cancer. The head guy thought that the growth looked suspicious. I have no illusions. But I will wait to find out the actual results.
Another factor that's gnawing at me is money. I was unable to pay for this procedure. Half before, half after. If the growth is benign, I will have to have the rest of it removed. Another whole surgery. If it ain't benign, I'll need radiation. I have no idea how I will pay for any of this. At this point, I have no idea how I will pay my rent and utilities this month.
BTW, I had a full-blown asthma attack after the surgery. Coughing, coughing, wheezing in the recovery room. Treated with albuterol. Sigh.
BTWBTW, I got there at six and was taken fairly quickly.
I managed to get down some ice cream and mac and cheese--and lots of liquids.
Can't tell you how much your kind thoughts, good thoughts, optimism, and concern mean to me. Well I could tell you, but that would require a lot more writing than I'm prepared to do tonight.
Youse guys is da best. Thank you.
Boida, we must have cross posted.
Still hoping and oming.

Diane,
Did our posts cross? If so, read the above. If not, that's one cute amphibian.
Either way, feh.
Crossing like crazy, Diane.
Thanks, kiddo.
Roberta, you need help as you well know. Don't get me swearing.
I mean re the bill. Anyone amongst the smarty a2kers who can get Roberta connected to some help? I act smarty sometimes but I'm a foo, certainly on this.
Meantime, buck up, we'll beat this, neg or pos..
Roberta, I don't know much about this but here is the link to the NY Public Health Insurance info.

Thanks mucho, swimpy. I've been rejected for Medicaid.
I was rejected for medicaid too.
How could it be?
I haven't had the balls to go back and ask. How much less could I earn than zero?
Imbecili.
How about the Family Health Plus? Are you eligible for that?
All this, Roberta, may sound not too good at moment.
But - especially, when you look back - there's always a light at the end of a tunnel.
I hope that all and everything will end good! Zol zayn mit mazel!
Bertie Girl
How are you today. Been thinking of you and all that must be going on in your head right now.
Hope you managed to eat something and aren't sore.
So sorry you are going through this.
(((((((((((((((Bertie)))))))))))))))
hoping and praying for ya girl. x
osso, I earn too much for Medicaid but not enough to be able to pay for insurance. I've also been rejected twice for disability.
Swimpy, I've investigated Family Health Plus. Can't afford it. I could reinvestigate, except this is now a preexisting condition. Most plans don't cover those, but I could look into it. Right now I'm too tired to do much of anything. I appreciate your help and suggestions. Sorry if I sound negative.
Thanks for the good wish in German Walter. I know it's a good wish from my limited knowledge of Yiddish.
Izzie, Thanks for thinking of me. I did manage to eat, but I'm very sore. Throat, lips, tongue teeth, jaw. Also from the asthma attack, my chest is sore from the coughing. Otherwise I'm fine.
feh is right.
when will they have some results?
sending you sooting ice-cream, lip balm and oxygen!
I gotta fly for a little bit - but hugging you big and hope you take it easy today x
Can't have too many fehs, reg. I'll have the results next Wed.
Izzie, I have plenty of ice cream. No lip balm. I have what is referred to as a fat lip, like someone hit me. I've taken my asthma meds. So I'm breathing okay. But my diaphragm muscles are sore, so it hurts to take a deep breath. You go fly, and thanks for the hug.
PM if you want to talk, hon.
