@Roberta,
Another pigeon lover here. (Even though they're considered vermin. The nerve!)

Just saying good morning to you, Roberta.

@Roberta,
Hey Boida - been thinking of you and am sitting here right now wondering what's happening next. What did you decide to do about the work thing? have you more med appointments arranged?

2010 aleady. Will make it a good year a?

It's freezing here goil - so so cold - it snowed at midnight on New Years Eve/Day - lovely. Back home now - reality hits home again. I'm needing to get organised for work tomorrow. Ha - I need some motivation. Too tired.

Hugs ((((Boida))))

I feel about the same. No better, no worse.

Just off the phone with the landlord. I will be receiving an eviction notice. But he told me not to worry. Hah!

I've been working on some papers for a tax matter. Can't understand or focus. Big problem. How can I resume working if I can't fill out an 8-page form? Never mind working. How can I resolve the tax matter if I can't fill out an 8-page form? Also can't remember where I put stuff I need for the form.

Got a Christmas gift certificate for Fresh Direct. Can't figure out how to access the site.

How do not-smart people navigate through life?

Still in a dark place. Scared. Alone.

Otherwise, everything is peachy.

@Roberta,
Can someone help you with the form? Forms suck when you're not well.

I am sure someone can help with Fresh Direct.

So sorry you are in a dark place.

@Roberta,
Ah Roberta.

No great advice (apart from try to keep plugging away with those forms, keep working your way through all the bureaucratic gobbledy-gook, even though it's a huge pain in the bum.)

Just commiserating, with fingers tightly crossed. (And wondering how receiving an eviction notice is not something to worry about. Neutral )

Hang in there & just keep asking for help when you need it.

I so wish things weren't like this, Roberta.

JPB, Thanks for the FreshDirect help. I'll try reaching that place tomorrow.

Husker, Thanks for the offer. The end is in sight. I don't have tax questions. I'm just having trouble focusing and comprehending. I'm finding that I need to give myself time to absorb what I'm looking at. I never had to do that before. Patience is not one of my strengths.

----------------------------------------

So I decided to have a potato kugel for dinner. What possessed me? I start grating the potato and realize that it's hard work and that I'm not up to the task, at least not all at once. I'm pooped. I have to take three breaks to finish grating. After the third break, I was grating away with the end in sight, and my pants fell down (no pun intended).

Hey, they're old, the elastic is shot, and I lost a lot of weight. Undaunted and unpanted, I finished grating. The kugel was better than fair but not quite good-good. C'est la vie.

Oddly enough, that happened to one of Abuzz's old matriarchs. (the pants part, not the kugel part)

Well, the nice young doctor was supposed to call me today and didn't. I tried reaching her. The number she gave wasn't her pager number. Spent about forty minutes on hold on three different lines. Then I said a dirty word and hung up. Yeough! Looks like I'm gonna have to wait to find out about my throat.

Think I'm getting a cold, which could be very serious for me because of asthma.

Still sorting through papers for the steenkin' form.

I tried the link to Fresh Direct. No luck. I'm gonna call tomorrow. I need some supplies.

Back to collecting, sorting, and entering.

Hope you are all ok.

Smile
