am i incorrect in assuming you've already searched the internet for the size you need?

there's a drug-induced ramble right there

Caught that, huh? Thought that one might slip by.

No, you ain't correct. If I needed long-term binderization, I would have already found one that fits. But this is a short-term thingie. I would probably not have even raised the issue if I had been sent home binderless. Became enraged only because they gave me one that did't fit. I was also given the wrong info about cleaning/constant wear. Otherwise, the entire binder situation went as smooth as silk.
Appreciate the thought, reg.
Am I back? Don't feel entirely back. But I take your word for it, Beth.
Hey, glad to be back.
Do you think you could do your best to keep the Choiping Chicken going til we can get back?
Tastes good, and the price is right. I'll give it a shot, kid.

Let's have more then, Roberta!
Yes, boys and girls, surgery again, again.
This coming Tuesday (July 29) I will have a small growth removed from my throat. Doctors do not believe it is malignant. In fact, they think it's a wart (in my throat!!). But it must be removed and biopsied.
I will not have to stay in the hospital overnight (so they say).
I've been in a funk from the second I found out about this. Now I can combine that with a bit of panic and a strange numbness.
Feh and pooh yet again.
Feh and pooh, and Foo and peh.
or Foo and Pez.
I might have purchased those once. I probably should have saved them. They've been sanctified at a local restaurant here.
Hand to you...
Pez (or is it Pezes?) were eh, but the dispensers were fun.

Well, who the hell wants surgery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oooooooh - pez and foo and fez and p...
Sorry you're gonna have surgery Boita - will be thinking of ya and wishing you well!
Aaah, Roberta. I'm so sorry to hear this news. My sincerest wishes for a speedy recovery. You will be in my thoughts.
Add my well wishes to the list. I had no idea.
hugs and pezii
love ya, Boidy
Well dang.
Glad the thing isn't malignant. Annoyed at it anyway. (Can't ya stick to fingers like a normal wart instead of causing all this trouble??)
Will be thinking about you...
Roberta- Sure, surgery sucks, big time. You are better off staying overnight at the hospital. In case there is some bleeding, there will be medical personnel at the ready to fix any problems. Personally, I think that hospitals throw people out much too soon, so if they are willing to keep you overnight, enjoy the attention.
As far as the tissue being biopsied, I believe that it is the law that anything that is removed from a person has to be checked. So even though the word "biopsy" sounds lousy, it is meaningless, since the doctor is not concerned about any malignancy.
Focus on the 30th. It will be all over, and you will be on the road to recovery.

Any abnormal growth would be evaluated.
Thanks for the good wishes, all.
They don't think it's malignant. They don't know that it isn't. I'm a smoker, so there's extra concern. They think it's a wart; they're not sure. Although I've been told there's no cause for alarm, the doctors I've seen have been in a helluva hurry about this.
Phoenix, Staying overnight is not an option, and frankly I can't afford to stay overnight. I was allowed to pay for the surgery one half now and one half later. If I hadn't been given that option, I wouldn't have been able to have the surgery at all. Sigh.
Fact is, I spent the first few weeks worrying more about the money than the operation. Being poor sucks. Having another operation sucks. As my grandmother used to say, "Enough already."
