Well, sheesh....we could've told you that!

Assuming we're all over 21 here, we're ALL losing brainpower.

@Eva,
Eva, I assumed my memory would deteriorate and that my brain's abilities would be slower. Did not expect to be stoopider. This is a shock.

And you AREN'T, Roberta. (stoopider, I mean.)

Who the hell wouldn't feel completely flummoxed, dealing with what you have had to deal with on a fairly regular basis? It's been one distressing episode after another.

I think it's a sign of SUPREME intelligence that you've coped with this barrage of grim news as well as you have. Most of us couldn't have, I'm sure.

Trust me, snooks, you are one exceptionally bright cookie! Who deserves a break already!

@msolga,
There's no way she's stoopider now than when she used to be, because if she used to be even smarter than she is now, she would've already taken over the world. Well, universe.

Maybe she had the ability to take over the world/ universe, she just didn't want to. Ah, but in that case, maybe she STILL has the ability to take over the world/ slash universe, just hasn't been moved to do so. Yet.

Either way, she's wicked smaht.

@sozobe,
Is (are?) smarts (smahts) what it takes to take over the world? I'm dubious. If being smaht was all it takes, I'd a took over before I started getting stoopid. But who knew? See. . . not so smart--even when I was smart.

Just back from the hospital again. Had my six month checkup for the endometrial cancer. Won't know anything for a while. The doctor was very impressed with my Bellevue record.

Mentioning the cognitive tests yesterday reminded me of them. I was supposed to give a list of animals--just off the top of my head. I asked the examiner a question no one had ever asked him before. He had to make up a rule for me. Why does this make me smile? Dunno, but it does. (BTW, I threw in an okapi and a caracal just to keep him on his toes.)

See. Only our Boida could do that. Love ya goil. Keep that chin up and the sense of humour - oh to really be there with you, just to get you the odd diet pepsi from the fridge.

Hugs, love always........

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzing now - you're a wonderful person - don't ever forget it! EVER. x

<and I know for a fact - your sense of humour is wicked too. Razz >

@Roberta,
Yes... love the idea of Roberta giving a list of animals as a cognition test! Ha!

(Okapis -- the kitchen sinks of the animal world.)

@sozobe,
I said the test was challenging, and it was. But this particular part was not all that challenging. This guy didn't know who he was dealing with animalwise. Wink Smile

Thanks for asking, Izzie. Lots of us would like to know, as well!

Good morning, Roberta. I've been wondering how things are with you.

I'm tense, nervous, anxious, and scared. Gearing up.

I've also been dealing with some financial/tax matters that give me a stomach ache.

Otherwise, everything is peachy.

BTW, Izzie. No Diet Pepsi for me. I take mine straight (sugar, that is).

Thanks for asking.

Me, too, Foxfire. I even have my own teabag (Prince of Wales) at the ready for the gathering.

@Roberta,
That makes sense...the anxious tense etc. stuff.

Is there anyone who can let us know about you while you cannot access a computer? Or any way we can ask the hospital?

We are gonna be anxious and tense too.
