Me estaba preocupando que los sabelotodos no me dejaría en paz por ninguna parte de este sitio. He tenido bastante de burlas. Me voy para buscar otro lugar muy lejos, donde puedo encajar.

Recibí la repuesta de Neo. Muchísimas gracias. Supongo que sea posible que estoy equivocado sobre Set - dado que cae bien a todos los otros del foro. Supongo que tengo la piel demasiada fina. No estoy acostumbrado a las descortesías y groserías. Pienso que haya diferentes niveles de comportamiento en la web que hablando con alquién cara a cara.

Sabía que estaba en un ambiente más o menos hostil, y, por eso, trataba con todos mis esfuerzos a expresarme con mucho cuidado y cortesía, guardando las palabras - como se dice en inglés, "caminando en huevos." Y me sirvió bien con todos sino el Sr Set. Es muy raro que tengo problemas personales con otras personas - pero, de vez en cuando, por razones que que no siempre entiendo, encuentro alquién que no puede llevarme bien. Supongo que sea un choque de personalidades y lo mejor es simplemente separarme de él o ella.

Ya que Set tiene muchos amigos en el foro, la culpa tiene que ser mío. Pero no era nada intencionado. La verdad es que sabía del principio que estaba andando en una vecindad donde no podría encajar de ninguna manera y no debo meterme en lugares asi'. He sobrevivido cosas muchas peores en mis 71 años - no es para tanto.

The number of friends which one alleges that i do or do not have in this forum has absolutely nothing to do with how you chose to respond to me. You decided that i "hate" you, which is an absurdity. That was based entirely upon my criticism of what you had written. It is certainly no fault of mine if you are unable to deal with criticisms of your ideas and beliefs, and it has no relationship to the number of friends you may think i have here.

You may be 71, but you badly need to grow up.

I knew that I was in a more or less hostile environment and, therefore, I spoke carefully and courteously, watching my words - as we say in english, "walking on eggs." And it worked well with everyone except Mr. Set. It is unusual for me to have personal problems with other people, but, once in awhile, for reasons I don't always understand, someone just doesn't get along with me. It's just a clash of personalities, I suppose, and the best thing is just to get away from that person.

Since Set has many friends on the forum, it has to be my fault. But it wasn't intentional. The truth is that I knew from the begining that I was in a neighborhood where I could never fit-in, and I should not interject myself in such places. I've survived worse things in my 71 years - no big deal.

How many friends you assume i have here has nothing to do with the undeniable fact that you reacted to criticism as a personal attack. Whether nor not you "belong" here has nothing to do with my criticisms of you, or how many "friends" you think i have here. You belong here as much as anyone else, and if you elect to remain here, you would do yourself a service to realize that when people criticize what you write, it is because that is what this place is all about, debate, criticism and disagreement. If you just want to preach to the choir, there are any number of bible-thumper forums out there which you could visit.

I'm sure you survived worse things in your life, this is nothing but an aggregation of dancing electrons. However, it appears that for whatever you survived, none of those experiences taught you how to deal with criticism.
