What are Confederates proud of?

Okay.... what heritage are they proud of? I can't think of much.

Can you name of one thing?

I know they still have schools called "Robert E. Lee Middle School".... which I think they should change.

Obviously, the English did a lot of bad things... but I don't want to get off on a tangent.

I also want to know how the English (historically very smart) evolved into retarded backwoods rednecks that watch NASCAR? When did their IQ drop so much? Do you think it's because of inbreeding?

Great. I'm 1/8th English..... but not from the south. My English ancestors went to Massachusetts...

I told him earlier today I once had a physique like a gorilla. But not the English part of me. That part is Polska.

Also, I have a few confederates but not from the confederation.

Do you think we may have confused him?

Other than slavery....

They didn't do anything unique. Farming? Okay. What else?

As far as I know, they didn't make any great contributions to science...

I mean... I guess if that's your past, you have to be proud of SOMETHING... but the descendants of Nazi's would hopefully give up there past.

I don't think there is an answer to this question that is good.

Most southern folk who have some fondness for Dixie are no more racist than fans of Tom Brady are patriotic.

And I, a Seahawk fan, have no affiliation with the Kwakiutl tribe

Tom Brady didn't enslave millions of people.

Maybe some Nazi's are "fond of their past?" Can Nazi's pick some culture out of that?

Maybe some Japanese are proud of when they killed millions of Chinese. Who knows?

In fact, a great many of them were of Irish and Scots-Irish ancestry--perhaps a majority. Some people have claimed that informed their policies and public attitudes. I am unconvinced of that.

That explains that you sometimes see red hair.

I knew people in high school who said their uncle was still part of the KKK, and I've seen people who live in trailers with Nazi memorabilia.

It's all pathetic.

What inspires people to live on hate? What do they hate and why?

I've been to jail and personally seen that people with Nazi tattoos let their guard down and talk to everyone (black people included) when they are locked up, when they can't just seclude themselves in their trailer.

So, your method of learning about the Confederates is to do a Google search on the phrase "black slavery" and only look at the images?

Honey, someone in your schooling has done you a grave disservice. I hope you will rectify this by doing some reading on your own.
