If Yanks adopted such a stance there would be many fewer people dead at the hands of the US governments, right, Merry?

Is there some confusion in your mind between governments and the people they govern, JTT? The average Syrian citizen hated its own government a lot more than it hated/distrusted the US government. The average Syrian citizen also understood that there is very little (if any) connection between a visiting Yank and the actions of the US government.(For the record, I believe the actions of the US government in attacking Lybian targets at that point in time were fully justified.)

Government of the people, by the people, for the people, Merry. You can't pick and choose, though you sheeple always do. You stroke your egos with flights of fantasy about what a grand system of governance you have when the facts show you have crap.

The average Syrian didn't know just what US governments are capable of. Many were like the multitude of ignorant Americans.

The "precision" one would expect from a former newspaper guy is sorely lacking, Merry.

The US rarely does anything that is justified.

How exactly are you comparing Benghazi to Beirut? An 8 hour attack vs. a truck bomb?

An 8 hour attack?

ROFLMAO... where do you guys come up with this crap?
There was no 8 hour attack. The time line shows there were 2 attacks 8 hours apart. When you can't even get basic facts correct, why should we take anything you say seriously?

@parados,
To quote Hillary, what difference does it make now. We have already figured out that facts aren't important in this story. Hell for 2 weeks we were told it was due to a protest about an anti-muslim video. You are going to call my trust into account? Your Dem handlers would be proud of you.
