Tranlation from Enlgish to Latin

Hi everybody --

I'm working on a paper about the 'erotics' of translation. I'd like to use a title like Wittgenstein's 'Tractatus Logico-philosophicus'.

Can someone suggest something like 'Tractatus blah blah blah'? Thanks a lot!

I don't know what you're looking for exactly, but libellus means "little book," and carta means "sheet of papyrus." If you're looking for specific words, I can probably help.

Let's try this approach.
Wittgenstein's title means "Logical-philosophical Tract".

How would you emulate this title in English?

Thanks, George.

What I want to convey is something like 'an erotic of translation' in English. BUt of course, I need my essay's title to be in Latin and it must read like Wittgenstein's 'Tractatus Logico-philosophicus', using the same Tractatus- formulation.

What would you suggest?

I'd suggest you put the pen in your hot little hand and have George move it up and down for you.
