Oh Butrfly, that's so cool. I do want to make it my Christmas avatar, but I'm afraid I might not be able to get my otherone back in there after Christmas :-(

I'd love a little holiday makeover! Perhaps something in my hair or some sparkly, dangly earrings? Use your imagination, but no blue eyeshadow, please!

Instructions for installing your new Holiday avatar:

These instructions are for the Internet Explorer browser.

Before doing either of these methods, if you wish to preserve your old avatar image for after the holidays, you need to save it to your hard drive by following the instructions in the first paragraph of method 1. After the holidays, to reinstall your old avatar, follow the rest of the instructions in methods 1.

Method 1:

Put your mouse pointer on top of the image for your new avatar, click the right mouse button and select "save picture as" then select the location where you wish to save it on your hard drive. Make note of the location and file name.

Click on the Profile link at the top of the A2K page and scroll down to the bottom where the avatar settings are. If you have an existing avatar, mark the box below the picture to delete current image. You'll then replace it by clicking on the "Browse" button. This allows you to locate and select the new avatar file you just saved to your hard drive. Double click on the file name. Now click on "submit."

Method 2:

Put your mouse pointer on top of the image for your new avatar, click the right mouse button and select "Properties." Move mouse to the Properties box, select and copy the address where the image is located then move back to the A2K Profile page and paste the address where it says "Upload Avatar from a URL." Now click "submit."

Okay, here's a new batch of avatars. Think I got everyone from both threads who has requested one. I'm placing them all in this thread so we can easily find them again next year.

Here goes....

Cavfancier, here's a newly resized one for you. See if this fixes your uploading problem. Let me know.

Guess we best coordinate this or go ahead and make twofers when we're both inspired. Smile

I don't mind the duplicates if you don't.... It's still fun to do!

You already got one, Gautam... look up here in this post.... http://www.able2know.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=476398#476398

Yours is the fifth one from the top. Look for your name in the text. Wink If you still don't recognize it, it's the one with Santa on the computer screen and an elf at the desk.
