Pray tell, who then oh oracle?

Well, I think there is a good chance that neither will receive the nomination on the first ballot at the convention.

Others are beginning to talk about that possibility also,

Quote:
Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean on Wednesday voiced concern over the prospect of a brokered convention at the end of the party's White House nominating contests.
full story at http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=080206232326.2nxp3bd8&show_article=1

but I've been talking about it since last summer.

The early exit of John Edwards makes it somewhat less likely, but I still think it could happen.

If it does, I've said the Dems will reach for a proven national vote getter.

Al Gore would be their most likely compromise candidate. I first posted this scenario back in July.

Will it happen?

Who knows? My guesses are as good as (almost) anyones. Laughing

Good to hear from you, snood.

In grade three, out elementary school class performed as a chorus in a competition including grade three classes from Sardis, Greendale, Yarrow and Harrison Lake. Our class won. My mother said, "You sounded beautiful".

She was a choral relativist.

See, he is beginning to acknowledge it already. (We have already established that the facts in question were accurately reported, and are only dealing with Advocate's lingering neurosis with respect to some words that he finds ambiguous - words like "not, is, up, down, did, didn't, etc.)

Bernie's mother was, of course, correct.

Since i realize Okie is a shy fellow who doesn't like to take credit where it doesn't belong, he asked me to pass on the actual source of his attempt at humour.

dys, I don't know where it came from, but I thought it was somewhat humorous. And remember, humor must always have an element of truth, or it isn't funny.

I should apologize a little, though, because it is a little bit "mean spirited." Republicans are often accused of that, and I just want to be clear that I mean no offense to anyone that might be overly sensitive.

Yes of course Okie and it's not at all important that you cite its source, some people might get the mistaken idea that you actually have a sense of humour.

Butrflynet, I watched the first third of it, and frankly it wasn't funny. For one thing, it had no taste so I quit watching it, and it secondly it didn't fit the label, red state, because it reminded me of a couple of Democrat voters that I know.

George is on a down swing, and is trying to curry favor. It is pretty obvious that your mother was showing her bias. BTW, I tried that, and it doesn't work.
