True, Walter, and I'll be anxious to see those photos myself!
(The art IS genuine, if not the architecture. Philbrook is actually an interesting combination of Italian Renaissance Revival and Roaring '20s. The Great Hall even has wrought iron railings with designs of flappers dancing! The Italian theme was a popular building style here during the 1920s. It wasn't meant to be a faithful reproduction of an authentic Italian villa. The interesting thing is, you can stand at the original front door of the home and look across the street to two brand new "Italianate" mansions. That's the new term, I'm told. It seems the style has come around again.)

I leave for Seattle in the morning. Sure hope Penny arrived/arrives there safely. I hate leaving town without knowing.
Penny arrived in Albaturkey last evening and has been getting acquainted with Sally dog and Dante cat before venturing out.
We have had a rough few days here, but Penny will be touring like the little tourist she is tomorrow, then on to Noddy.
I'm looking forward to her arrival.

Penney riding herd on the Dys's range;
Penney, Sally dog and The Dys watching the telly:
Penney leading the annual flamingo roundup.
Nice!
(though E at the next desk comments that it's not the most flattering shot of SallyDog)
I'm sure, Penny especially liked the flamigos!
(She was quite jeaulous when I told her about my Sally-dog.)
Penney visits the National Atomic Museum in Albuquerque;
Penney asks to upgrade her accommodations so we go to our version of the Paris Hilton;
by now it is noon-thirty and Penney is hungry so we dine at teh Model Pharmacy Soda fountain; Penney has fresh cherry cobbler ala mode.
cherry cobbler
that Penny's a lucky hamster
My thoughts exactly.
I love the paws-in-the-air one!
Um, we never claimed Sally was a lady--far from it--she's a shameless little hussy. We regret the innocent Penny's association with said Sally, but Penny really has had some 'unforgettable' experiences.
For now, we'll leave Dante and Fred out of the picture........
