I have been inspired by a certain wonderful hamster to come forth and start up a social forum revolution!

I reside in Gotham City. Every self respecting rodent must live or visit New York City once in their life. It's our Mecca.

I am a hamster myself but I suffer the unshakable delusion that I should have been born a rabbit.

Thank you for this opportunity for allowing me to become a productive member of this community.

Yours truly,
Mitzy.

Related to Mitsy Gaynor? Maybe if you can sing and dance your way around.

@talk72000,
I have not done an accurate genealogy of my family background but I've heard that my adopted family is completely whitebread with their roots back to those turkey butchering Puritans of the Mayflower. But that's just an unproven rumor....

@Mitzy,
Welcome to A2K. I have never welcomed anyone before. There are a lot of rascals in here and I am one of them. Mr. Green 2 Cents

This is me borrowing a friends laptop. Please note the Jim Beam bottle on the right is his. And who the heck leaves a Jim Beam bottle unfinished for Peter Rabbit's sake?!

You must be talking about the Big Apple? I thought Gotham City was the city of Superman?

Regardless, you are a transplant, as opposed to a native? There is a difference in perspective. The transplant might just focus on the "bright lights, big city." The native might just focus on the fact that the city is just "home."

And what did you say about an adopted family?

potayto /potahto latke! Same thing.

Not so sure of my exact hometown. Was told it was some well hidden forested warren in New England. Living in NYC for the past decade. Still blinded by the brilliant lights of this exciting city.

@ossobuco,
Thanks there Missy Ossobucco! I'd share a glass of that Jim Beam with ya. How d'ya like it prepared? Me? I take it with a shot of unpasteurized carrot juice and a sprig of fresh carrot leaves.

@talk72000,
Not on my screen it isn't. Or maybe it's my eyes, that's a possibility. Ok, ok, I'll put an imaginary one there and add some snacks.

@Mitzy,
Well, I'd adulterate it with ice cubes, serve it in a nice glass.

I'd be starting to think of going out, or ordering in, chinese food. No carrots with Jim Beam. That's just wrong.

O.K., as you pointed out about the "white bread" family, forested warrens in New England are known for it repository of "white bread" old stock.

@Foofie,
Except that back in the old days, no one ever made what we think of as white bread.

Oops, pardon me, Mitzy. Way off topic, I am.
Here, have a pickled carrot..
