sunset in Yosemite Park in one of the areas away from the tourists and among the redwood and pine trees near a waterfall alone with my new husband-to-be reciting expressions of love to one another and, yes, exchanging rings, looking into each other's eyes with both of us tearing up from the emotion and then being taken in a horse-drawn carriage to the bridal suite at the Ahwanee hotel and not leaving our room for several days <sigh>

I've been to Yosemite Park & it was inundated with tourists in camper vans, stationwagons, trailers and stuff.

Well, OAK, so have I...but, since this is my fantasy, those people will have to go, that's all; because I want my trees and waterfall w/o any company except my man! Please? :wink:

Sweetiepie, Ok, I tell the bears to kool it and let you have your phun just the way you want it. Have you driven thru Death Valley at all ? Hot hot hot. You can get their direct from Las Vegas or t'other round. Is Muir Woods near Yosemite ? Just asking dear.

At a cottage, during a break from floating around in the lake. Friends and family are there - everyone's brought their favourite salad to share. It would have to be early September - no other big groups out at the lake - no motor boats on the lake - a big campfire with friends and guitars and marshmallows at night.

ohhhhhh, the dogs have to be there. Can't have a wedding without your best friends.
