I am just curious how many people use facial cleansers...this is in response to a disagreement with a friend about the statistics of how many people we each think use them.

I picked never since it might as well be. You're not counting something like french soap, are ya?

I use Olay Foaming Face Soap twice a day - have for many years. Or did you mean astringents and such?

I use Dial soap. Does that count? It cleans my face!

I use cetaphil cleanser every day - it is the best for my (too) sensitive skin.

Another sensitive skin type. Dial, Nick? I can do that once if I'm out of cleanser, but my face ends up being overly dry all day, not to mention make-up doesn't go on as well.

Try cetaphil squinney, that is really the only product that doesn't sting
or leaves a feeling of dryness, and it's cheap.

No, soap doesn't count for this. It was my stance that the majority of Americans do not use facial cleansers, but just use soap instead. However I think there are major correlations between age and sex on this issue. I'm a bit surprised to see that the majority of people here have voted yes so far. However, there are probably also correlations to people choosing to respond to a subject that they are personally invested in. As for myself, I've used them in the past (long ago), and eventually stopped using them after not seeing any effects whatsoever, but I've recently decided to give them another go.

I use a touch of Eucerin Moisturizing cream. It controls my eczema and makes my skin youthful

I think you should break the survey into men and women.

Exactly. Just due to the make-up removal, I would think WAY more women than men use cleansers as opposed to just soap.

Yep. It's nice. Makes your face feel clean and woken-up.

I'm a sucker for Lush products in general. I have a dry skin and so get quickly itchy, which is unpleasant and unattractive to boot, so I'm also a big fan of this. And their soaps are great.
