Re: Reverend Al Sharpton

Does he have a pulpit? Has anyone ever hired him as a reverend?
Al Sharpton is criticizing Don Imus and rightly so. Imus is in the wrong. But Sharpton made false statements in the Tawawna Brawley case and inflammatory statements in the Freddie Fashion Mart case.
Using Sharpton's standards for deciding punishment for Imus, what should Sharpton's punishment be?
Reverend Al Sharpton is a Pentecostal minister, licensed and ordained a minister at the age of 10 by Bishop F.D. Washington in 1964. He graduated from Samuel J. Tilden High School in Brooklyn, and attended Brooklyn College, dropping out after two years in 1975. Sharpton became a tour manager for James Brown, in 1971.
He preached his first sermon at the age of four.
He has to look himself in the mirror and realize it won't get any better. Isn't that punishment enough?
