That usually salvages even the worst day of fishing. Laughing

It's been a long time since I was sipping a beer while fishing. All of my recent trips have been trout fishing, and it's tough to carry a beer while wading up and down the stream.

I do remember the time when we would go out at night for catfish on a warm summer's eve. The coolers were full of beer and ice! On the trip home the catfish replaced the beer. We told all sorts of stories while we waited for the bite. Then we would have various "manly" contests after the beer kicked in. It don't get much better than that. Very Happy

I haven't been fishing for about 2 years now. We had a cottage on a small lake and most of the time my brothers-in law and I would sit on the shore baiting the kids hooks, taking the fish off their hooks and drinking beer. It was a lot of fun watching the kids faces when something took their bait. I'm really looking forward to doing it this year with my grandsons.

I lived on a private lake in North Carolina back in the early 90's and built myself a fishing dock. Talk about a kid magnet. My two boys had all their friends over and everybody was fishing. They were old enough to bait there own hooks, so I just watched (drank some beer) and took care of line tangles. You know boys ... they were interested in fishing for about an hour, then the horseplay started ... next thing you know my fishing dock is a diving board. Laughing

Sorry to interrupt.
I caught a fish. I did. That feels good.
Speaking of good. It took me so long to get back because the phone rang.
It was another emergency. "HELP TTH - TAXES ARE DUE!!! I HAVE A PROBLEM".
A problem? It can't be that bad.

"OH IT IS. I AM STUCK. WHAT DO I DO?"

Well you know me. I such a sucker bring the thing over and I will fix it.
"YOU WILL?" Yes. It is not the end of the world. It is only a tax return.
I haven't even done mine yet. I am not worried.
"OH I FEEL BAD" Why? "YOU HAVEN'T DONE YOURS OMG WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?" I might just call 911 since it is an emergency and tell them to take care of it. Just joking (about calling 911) The other stuff is true btw. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

Why do people panic over paper? I just don't get it. Plus there are options Idea

I know that is not brief fluoz. But that just occurred and I am laughing
because I don't know why people feel the need to panic over it.
So, I find it funny. Laughing Laughing

I was going to go to bed. Now I have to wait till the "package" arrives.
Then I will get some sleep. I don't need to watch a comedy on tv. My life
is a comedy. I just don't get paid for it. Laughing Laughing
