Please do! I liked the other one you posted, a while back.

I'll have to get familiar with the photograph posting thing, too. Got the camrea. Now to learn the rest!

Here's something that's slightly off topic that I may create a new thread to discuss.

I am the proud new owner of a Dyson vacuum. If you have cats, you have to give these a try. Buy, beg, borrow, or steal one (they aren't cheap). Vacuum with your old vacuum, then go over the same area with the Dyson. You'll be amazed.

I've sucked up enough cat hair to make an area rug.

I recall a very funny photograph (possibly in that A2K "Cat photograph" thread) of a cat that appeared to be in 7th heaven while being being vacuumed. Don't think my cat would go for it, but.

You're not a salesman for Dyson, are you, cjhsa?

No, I don't work for them. True that, if I started a Dyson specific thread it would likely get pulled.

The vacuum, however, is almost scary in what it picks up.

oh do get familiar with it and post some pics Very Happy

nowhere exciting is where they go! we live in the city but our houses are circled round squares like mini parks with grass and bushes and a few trees - they go off around the squares (that sort of link) and he runs up and down trees and they trot along together and there are benches to sit out, where they stop, sit for a while, and watch the word go by in the summer Rolling Eyes

I've had a Dyson for a good few years and they are much much better than normal vacuum cleaners - well they were designed by an Englishman Twisted Evil He had to put the business on the line and sue the big companies, who thought they were big enough to get away with ripping off his design, they lost.

Here's another shot of Louis-ifer as I call him. I failed to put any recognizable object in there for perspective, but that planter/vase is about 12" tall. Louis weighs about 11 pounds and is still growing.

He sure looks sleek and healthy! He also looks like he makes sure to place himself in the most decorative places.

cjhsa,

What a gorgeous cat. I am very partial to the gray and white cats. Eleven pounds!? A manly size, I'd say. What a beauty! Laughing

Does he ever try to eat the plants? I only have silk plants here and one cat loves to lick those.

I have this white cat here and she is the funniest thing. I don't know if something is wrong with her voicebox but whenever she meows, she sounds just like the lid of Dracula's coffin opening up like in all those old movies! The first time I heard it, freaked me out! Shocked

Momma A, I know just the sound you're talking about-- My cat Rufus scared someone who was catsitting for me, because they heard the sound of a door opening when they were in the house alone...just Rufus, doing his creaky door voice!

The first time my husband heard it you should have seen his face! Princess was on the chair behind his rocking chair and she stood up and let out that low gravelly thing. My husband's eyes flew open and he said, "What the he!! was that?"

Me? I died laughing! Laughing

Well, today we went shopping, bought some ground beef, and since the cat was all over it I gave him a small bit - raw. Mistake. Cat puked it up all over the kitchen - at least he stayed off the carpet.

What?! Your cat doesn't know about always aiming the puke at an absorbent suface, either carpet or any clothing on the floor? He missed some important cat training somewhere...

Paddy was not feeling well this week ... he was sneezing uncontrollably and his nose was all stuffed up ... I'm so glad he's feeling much better and laying right here with me.

Louis is a fine speciman! I like that first photograph very much. I remember when your son persuaded you to keep him. He said he's look after Louis if he could stay. If he's stuck with his end of the deal he should be congratulated. He's done a very good job!

Uhoh, Misti.
It sounds like "the snuffles" which my cat suffers from. As did a previous cat who lived with me. It can really wear the poor critters down if it goes on & on & on .... If it continues for a couple more days, I'd take him to the vet to have it treated. It's sort of serial sneezing & can be accompanied with a stuffed up nose & also discharge from one or both eyes. Flatty's had a hell of a time with it! And it can recur, dammit!
Good luck, Misti. I hope it's gone by the time you read this!
