Yes, I don't think he should be left out all night - I try to give ours their last meal late so they come in for it - but himself doesn't always cooperate! Paddy loves to stay out all night when it's warm but I totally hate it when people 'put the cat out at night' - like the Flintstones!

if you don't have him neutered then he will get into fights over territory and females - meaning spraying, injuries and vets bills.

Paddy is gregarious and is friends with all the local cats bar one and he's not scared of him but they shout at each other - we then yell and 'bad cat' runs away!

Rosie is almost back to normal - she told me off for about half an hour of our first cuddle and then settled - snuggling in to my neck - suddenly remembers grudge - growls for a while whilst still cuddling up - relaxes - remembers again - has a little growl etc

Paddy took everything in his stride and just got on with the business of playing, eating and sleeping - and waking us at 5am this morning. My parents adored him as he was so friendly - they just never get to see the lovely side of Rosie. Thorny little madam - wonder if it's because she was feral? or the ginger in her fur!?

I love your Rosie & Paddy tales, Vivien! Very Happy
Rosie reminds me so much of (long-gone) Ms Mozzie. A fiercely devoted one woman cat, while Mr Paddy is a gregarious charmer of all & sundry! Obviously not a dull moment at your place! Very Happy

Hello cat lovers. While searching for lyrics, I found this song and immediately thought of the cat lovers thread. This, I think, should be dedicated to Mikey:

Tom Cat
The Rooftop Singers lyrics

I've got an old Tom Cat
And when he steps out
All the other cats
In the neighborhood
They begin to shout

There goes a ring tail Tom
Struttin' round the town
And if you got your heat turned up
You better turn your damper down

Ringtail Tom is a star
He's a boss around this town
He don't allow no other Tom Cats
Come pussy footin' around

Ringtail Tom on the fence
Little pussy cat on the ground
Ringtail Tom com-a-off-a that fence
They start rousin around

Ringtail Tom is a star
He's a natural born crack shot
He finds a new target every night
And he sure does practice alot

I've got an old Tom Cat
And when he steps out
All the other cats
In the neighborhood
They begin to shout

There goes a ring tail Tom
Struttin' round the town
And if you got your heat turned up
You better turn your damper down

And if you got your heat turned up
You better turn your damper down
