I just popped outside for a look at Mars. This is the first night that the weather has been clear enough to see anything celestial. He is very impressive this evening. It arose over my rather limited horizon about thirty minutes ago. (Eastern slope of the Alleghenies) The way the weather has been here I'll probably stay up a couple more hours to allow it to climb out of the atmospheric haze and look again. May not get another chance in this lifetime anyhow

Do you KNOW that the BB experiment will not show diffracted light? I have tried to think it through and I am not too sure either way. Knowing me I'll probably have to try it anyways if I can't find it in a book somewhere. It'll take some messing around with focal points and so on but I'll let you know if it matters.
