The guy was just 45. I saw his HBO special "Big Steaming Pile of Me" last year, and he had taken on a kind of edge that I didn't remember him having when I used to see him on Carson. Sad.

Oh my gosh, how sad. I saw this guy perform on stage about 15 years ago in St. Louis.
Yeah sad...he had a neat voice.
I tend to get him and Kevin Pollak mixed up....mostly by name.
I saw him in a few HBO specials. He was one of the better ones. Sorry to hear this.
