In today's NYT you'll find an article about
By Land and Air, a Live View of Cycling's Big Race

(You all certainly know that you can follow the race live here at Canal Le Tour (English version) )

Petacchi is unbeatable, forget McEwen... ;-)

NOW i know. But i hadn't expect him to be so strong before the tour started. I thought he would lose a bit of his winning appetite after seizing 6 victories in the Giro.

I play a game here in Belgium called Megabike You get 8000 UCI points and you have to make up a team of 12 cyclers. This is my team.

Name/UCI
-Jan ULLRICH/96 points
-David MONCOUTIE/631 points
-Ivan BASSO/565 points
-Bradley MCGEE/269 points
-Antonio TAULER/134 points
-Sven MONTGOMERY/15 points
-Robbie MCEWEN/1485 points
-Joseba BELOKI/1420 points
-Michael ROGERS/374 points
-Alexandre VINOKOUROV/792 points
-Mario AERTS/236 points
-Lance ARMSTRONG/1942 points
Arrow total= 7959 UCI points.

Last year i was regional champion. But without Petacchi i can forget it. He's worth 829 UCI points so i had to choose, and i lost.

(Beter één vogel in de hand, dan tien in de lucht.)

However, I keep my fingers crossed. (I'm in the lucky 500 at my local supermarket, who can win a Twingo - I WANT THE WEEKEND IN PARIS [3nd price])

Lead Less Than 6 Minutes
The current advantage of O'Grady and Geslin is 5'42". They have less than 28km to race before reaching the finish in Lyon. The peloton is now being led by the Fassa Bortolo and Lotto-Domo teams.

The stopped the life report on tv before they could get any further news (something with his hand/arm, but obviously only abrasions).

Quite funny stop at a railway crossing, for me, not for the cyclists (besides the four leading).
