These days there aren't many drugs that turn out to be harmful. Testing is a lot more thorough than it used to be. No-one wants another thalidomide, least of all the drug companies.
It's not like this drug was discovered last week.
Seems to me that this one is only controversial because some idiot decided that it was unseemly to suppose that girls will one day be sexually active women.

edgar, it seems to me that we rarely disagree about anything. That makes me think I'm missing something. I often argue with the expectation of being enlightened, or at least being better informed. If you aren't in the mood, no problem. But otherwise...what am I not seeing here?
I simply think the vaccine has no real track record. The girls are very young to be given something like that at this time. I am not concerned that they will have sex. Girls mostly always end up having that.
