Is the incidence of brain tumors in the population going sharply up?
IDK, have there been articles published lately?
I'm sure, thanks to various scans, that more brain tumors are being found than every before.
Until quite recently, a brain tumor was a very private, secret malady.
I agree with Noddy. It is not limited to brain tumors. More sophisticated tests and scans have enabled doctors to find tiny tumors that would have been overlooked in the past, until the cancers became large enough to cause some kind of symptoms. Patient education has enabled more people to avail themselves of screening tests that find tumors at the earliest stages.
