That youtube video is fab...

I really love the big finish: "Your truck-lovin', liquor cravin', gun totin', flag-wavin' Jesus" Laughing Laughing

And Jesus is damn sexy with his shirt off, too-- as he should be.

Jesus died basically because he was bad for business, there being an entire tribe (Levites) of Jim and Tammy Faye Bakers about at the time. The guy was real enough, but you have to read it in his own words in the NT, and not in religions.

Maybe it's merely that grin next to every post of yours, but somehow I get the feeling that you are not just talking about cats and weaponry, nimh.

Is there a deeper meaning hidden in your words, Dutchman?

"His own words, as reported by guys who never knew him, and later by guys who, interpreting "His words" wanted to embellish them a bit more so that their religions NT would be " even more specially miraculous"

I can't believe it. I agree with gunga on something 100%. I have always maintained that Jesus was killed because He was screwing around with the bottom line.

Interpreted umpteem times before King James, let alone the NT.

Jesus came to this Earth with a message which was concerned with right conduct and with man's relationship to the realm of spirits. The message was correct, which is why people still worship him 2000 years later despite not having seen him since then. Whether he ever walked on water, fed a city with one fish, or was the son of God or the son of a carpenter is fairly irrelevant in my estimation.

Other than that, the gun he'd be carrying (the original question here) would be this:

Who would Jesus kill?

or

What would Jesus kill?

Really, I'm serious.

Which one of his Father's creations would he take out first?

The psychiatric community is actually making progress with delusions of coolness such as you suffer from. Hang in there...

The gun in the picture is meant for large bears and caribou. If you're going to feed a multitude, you need to think big.

SOmehow I think that gunga is just yanking our collective chains. We musr respond in an equally lighthearted spirit. No need to call attention to critical care and medications and stuff.

I believe that Jesus, would carry an el Lupe, a nice sawed off 12 gage riot double barrel, open choke. This would get to them pharisees and sweep the floors with chunks of the money changers.

Jesus would also drive a Big Dog.

Since LSM apparently left, I'd decided to remove the 'ignore' check from your avatar, as well. I figured I'd start over - give you and cjhsa and Finn and Tico, etc, the benefit of the doubt. I only had two people on 'ignore' - you and LSM.

And anyway - your mixing images of Jesus and weaponry isn't disgustingly racist or incredibly stupid and lowbrow, like others of your posts that had me ignoring you before.

It's just flat out crazy, man. I mean, nuts - like, does-this-guy-have-a-firm-grip-on-what-planet-he's-on, nuts.

Ya see nimrod, Jesus is the prince of peace. He is the original nonviolent icon. He is the guy who wants you to pray for enemies and return forgiveness for insult and persecution. For you to be picking out some nifty firearm and saying "Hyuk, hyuk - dis here is duh one whut Jesus woulda shot with" really highlights some scary cracks in your mental makeup.
