Wow! Is this speedy or what?
Let me know if it holds true for peak periods, I'm doing some tests.
SO much better!
Weekends are usually a little slower than weekdays, but still much much better than usual at this time on a Sunday.

Though you could notice - re Craven's question - that it slowed when the Americans joined us few Aussies and Europeans.
Count me in for contributing if you need it Craven.
Or if it feels better; you could sell some overpriced caps and T-shirts I'll never wear.
I'm no techi... but don't some websites utilize user's resources to augment their own? I probably use a small fraction of the 4 GB of RAM I have, could easily spare 100 GB of Hard Drive Space and my CPU is connected to High Speed 24/7 if you can use it. How big is this thing anyway?
It's currently quite slow. Could management ban the Americans, please?

Ive waited hours that someone posted this important matter
Since I posted the above, there have been a few times when it's been really slow, and a few critical errors. Overall it still seems faster and more reliable than it had been.
Besides being slow, I also get the "critical error" message quite often today.
I didn't get 'critical error' but the IE message that the browser couldn't reach the website.
Quite often. After the Americans woke up. Before, it was fast as lightning.
(It's faster than the days before in general, no doubt.)
I have added a link in the footer of the site to donate toward server costs. I'm not doing recurring payments this time for reasons I will explain later (gotta run).
I've been trying on and off since about eight this morning (EST) and have been finding the site terribly slow. I see no improvement.

Perfect! I've done so - paypal is the fastest and easiest way!

Done - a good idea, which might need some more advertising, I think.

Ban us
What would you do without someone to put down then??
Donated!
Added a link on the Rendezvous Point site I made, too.
How ironic! PayPal is telling me it has "temporary technical problems" too.
I've been dodging Pay Pal, but my clever son is due for a visit later this week and I'll get him to help me set up an account.
