It is my opinion that there will never be anything even remotely like peace in the Middle East so long as there is a state of Israel….and any living Arabs in the area. One or the other has to go. They have to make the decision.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with a Jewish state called Israel being carved out of some other area…even the continental United States if necessary. I realize the strong connection Jews have with the area in which it is now constituted….but it just is not going to work. Of course, I am a headstrong person…and I have often done things that amount to cutting off my nose to spite my face. If the Israelis finally decide they've had enough and are willing to risk annihilation…taking most of the rest of the world with them by starting something that becomes world wide…so be it.

Israel isn't going to leave their ancient homeland.

If the Arabs can't get along with their neighbors, they'll have to be the ones to leave.

So they say. Which funnily enough is exactly what the Iranians say too. So there is no need for any nastiness is there boys?

The Iranians are lying.

Yes. That's how we distinguish them from the Americans.

You don't normally write stuff that is silly, but the second sentence is silly. Neither group will be driven out. They'll just keep killing each other's grandmothers and children in pursuit of god's loving plans for the world, blessedly aligned with Northrop Grumman's loving plans.

Well, Americans (and the American government) certainly lie. But in the case of America and Iran both saying their nuclear ambitions are within international law, I'd say the Americans are telling the truth and the Iranians are lying.

This is largely because international law allows America to have a considerable nuclear arsenal, so nearly everything we could possibly want is allowed for us.

I do realize that international law requires us to draw down our arsenal as much as possible. I believe we have complied with that requirement with the SALT and START treaties.

Well, I allow myself a bit of silliness now and again. Very Happy

I was not seriously suggesting a campaign of ethnic cleansing against the Palestinians. I was just trying to make clear that the Israelis were not going to be leaving.

Request for permission to be occasionally silly is granted. I try not to top 10% myself. But, these are trying times.

Oralloy - glad this old song makes you laugh, but consider that it was heard many times in past centuries, from Assyria to Egypt to Roman Palestine to Isabella's Spain -other such locations. The song didn't last too long.

Secretary Gates, the Joint Chiefs, and everyone who knows the oil price are opposed to an Iran attack, however......

Just how sneaky do you think this planned attack is if we are talking about it on an open forum?
